Nice to hear two [? :-)] men's voices in a dialogue; even more so at the moment because some people are discussing having male role models for tone pitches.

So you don't use a measure word for tables in the phrase 办几桌?

If I understood correctly, a wedding might have 15 tables (say) ie about 180 guests, each giving (say) on average about 800 rmb, which seems to make about 150000 rmb.

At my wedding we just had two friends present who were also the witnesses!

But the text is on a web site that can be copied. I have done so and have saved the text in a file so I can study it at will. I just wondered why you don't do the same and supply it in the pdf.

Is there a legal or similar reason why a copy of the text cannot be included in the PDF file for media lessons?

I like the alternate male and female voices. Am I right that the last part was not read by Vera?

Interesting topic.  Here are a few words from the chat that I picked up along the way; hope they are correct

丢弃、褒义、贬义、掩蔽、作弊、面貌、血统、制止、消灭、缺陷、漠视、关怀

Lots of interesting things going on here.

I was pleased that some cars have 屁股 - for those that know the old French Megane, this is particularly amusing - La grande derrière!

I was intrigued about local and exterior plates. So if you visit another city, are you allowed to drive in their rush hour with your local plates?

Incidentally, 沪 is not in the vocabulary section, and 班车 is incorrectly said to be 'regular bus' not 'company bus'. I thought there could be more in the supplementary vocabulary section eg 高架 as you both used a lot of Chinese today.

Definitely a subject for Important Things ….
