There seems to be something wrong with the Lesson PDF - I can't get it to open properly

Thanks - yes I missed most of that - so many little gems hidden away in unlikely places - part of the charm of Chinesepod I suppose.

Good Lesson - lots of content - will need to revisit this one many times!

Great language format again.

Interesting to hear about the 'single certificate' - Perhaps you need to produce this if you want to get married!

加油!

Sorry to reveal you to the world :-) Your avatar doesn't indicate your exalted status, but I clicked on your icon and all was revealed

By the way, why don't you appear as part of the team on the tab?

Great accent by the way (Chinese not American!) - in my humble opinion.

Careful what you wish for :-). We don't want to lose our only male native (or indeed any male) voice. Keep up the good work David - it is much appreciated.

Thanks.

By the way, are you THE Shanell, or another Shanell?

Very interesting.

Particularly interesting was the emphasis on your 'major' at University as if that were the only way to get qualifications. As Jenny pointed out, some people have successful careers in subjects different from their original major. I took a Chemistry degree initially before I went into the IT industry ...

So if these days you want to go to China (say) to teach English, do you have to have some sort of English degree or will experience alone get you through the bureaucracy? Or (say) if one had a Chemistry degree but 20 years experience in IT, would an IT job be possible? (This is not about me by the way as I also took an IT degree later). What about jobs which do not have a corresponding degree course?

Agreed - the problem is the vocabulary section which does not correspond in level

Vera, sadly the latest 'intermediate' lesson - having dinner with a client suffers from the same problem.
