And I was in 'listening to Mandarin mode' not expecting English for 在squeeze hence my siguyisi! (Actually I really don't like listening to Mandarin with English words popped in from time to time. I go to a Chinese class where the teacher does just that - I just wish she would just speak Mandarin)

May 20, 2014 at 5:41 AMI enjoy listening to Jenny speaking Mandarin during these podcasts as it gives me some puzzles. Near the end Jenny says something like: wubianchensi - is that right? Near the beginning at about 1:50 she says something like 'zaisiguyisi' which I can't work out, just before she uses the word 挤 to pinch.
According to web sites I look at 50 kilos at 155cm is right in the middle of the recommended 'normal' range, but there is room to slim(!) until about 45 kilos when you would be regarded as underweight.
I much prefer to do sport for exercise rather than go to a gym, so I have no idea what an 'elliptical' or a 'weight loss robot' are.

That is why I wondered if Chinesepod might like to answer the question from their point of view.

I can't quite get my head around copyright applied to the internet though, as just anybody can access the page and the information is 'copied' onto their screens... Does that mean that printing an internet page is illegal?

May 21, 2014 at 8:16 AMsiteng: Seems your Mandarin ability is better than you think! I thought it was hard enough to be classified as upper intermediate although I have myself had problem with some of the lesson levels recently being 'too' low.
