Nice Qing Wen. I listened to it Sunday morning and just as I was about to go to sleep Sunday night I finally realized what bothered me. I usually think of 沒 and 不 coming before the word/character they negate.

I know this is not always the case but I wonder if anyone else lost sleep as I almost did.

The street food doesn't make my mouth water, it makes me want to have a beer! I think what is very hard for CPoddies who have never been to Mainland China or Taiwan to appreciate is the convenience and how good so much of this food is. Piping hot and as Jenny said all the hustle and activity in the area when you have food being cooked.

When I lived in Taiwan I ate street food almost every day and what was nice was there were tables and chairs along with a frig where you went and got your beer yourself.

CPOD

Very useful for one who boards planes in Asia every week. Thank you.

I guess I now understand why Chinese Young people have such a hard time "falling" in love. From the expansion section

喜歡上這兒

Its tough enough to fall in love with out having to fall "Upwards"

No wonder Jenny, Connie and Amber are sooooo unreachable in winning their hearts.

See there is value in going back to lessons almost three years old. ( especially on days of Advanced Lesson I am a bit confused by this expansion sentence.

甚麼時間休息
(I don't have much time to rest.)

This part

甚麼 .

I am not sure I have come across this chunk before. So is this the most common way to say "not have much" ..... time, money, patience, experience....

Hi CPOD

Since it is the policial season at least in the US and now Japan. How do you say :

He/she made the arguement for......

He/she will argue for ....

I think the above may not use 吵架

and is a noisey argument 吵吵架 ?

and a family argument a 家 吵架 jiā chǎojià

Hi Amber

I think GarethM is refering ot his i-Tunes feed. I am having the same problem I confirmed in my preferences I have clicked Traditional and Simplified. But recently "nada" on Traditional. I tried reloading my feed into i-Tunes that did not fix it.

Thank you Miss Zhu,

You have done much to teach and brighten the days for many of us all over the world these past three years.

Now for a question. I was a bit puzzled (not unusual) with what seems like a simple sentence in the expansion section

我們小   He is the youngest in our class.

1st. Is there a better way to distinguish youngest? Out of context I would have thought this was he is the smallest.

2nd. The use of "算" here. I would have used 是 . If he is the youngest or smallest, it is a fact. Yes?

Does 算 mean after thinking about all the possibilites it is my/our opinion that...... whereas

1 + 1 是 2

Hope the CPOD factory has a big cake today and look forward to the next three years and more.

Amber

Your explanation for Chris helps us all. THANKS! I think turning this into a very simple videopod would be very useful.
