哈哈 Good one Baba.

Seriously though, maybe we should try doing what the Germans did with their Rechtschreibreform. We could get representatives from all the English speaking countries (and maybe some from those countries where English is a close second) to sit down together and agree on one standard set of spellings, pronunciations and so on. You know, I think it could work. Altogether now ... er, I mean all together. ;-)

What gets me every time is I try to spell Traveling with two Ls, but who am I to argue with Bob? Hmmm ... I wonder if George and Jeff had that problem.

Great pics Cinnamonfern! Wonder what the Chinese is for Gondolier-er-er. Was he singing O Sole Mio ...?

Oh, P.S.: The wet weather probably wouldn't have caused you such trouble had you kept your nice turtle avatar. ;-)

I typed "SSD" (solid state drive) into Google Translate and it returned "固态硬盘 -- Gùtài yìngpán." That's the type of hard drive used in the MacBook Air and so on.

You might want to give Dear Amber ID CA0067 a listen (particularly from 12:45). Interesting thoughts on this subject.
