a1pi2, it may well have a keyboard. I don't know, I am just assuming tablets won't have one, and if it doesn't, I won't want one. Well, certainly not as my main computer. Maybe Apple can come up with some innovative solution.

a1pi2, I'm hoping to get another year out of this old thing. As I said, it does most things well, so until it can't do most things, I will hold off replacing it.

I was wondering about this Apple tablet, but I will want a keyboard as I can type much faster than I can write, plus the screen wouldn't be vertical. And it'll be ludicrously expensive.

This Bamboo thing looked expensive on Amazon. I would have thought they were only about £10 by now!

nwinter,

Tis a G4 PowerPC iMac 800MHz with 512 MB of RAM running Tiger. Pretty old school! I'm using Flash 9. I upgraded to Flash 10, found it worked for about a month, and then suddenly no Flash worked ever again. Well, it kind of works for things like CPod audio, but I can't run newer CPod videos, for example, so I downgraded to Flash 9, but most video still doesn't work. Dunno what happened, but I would be loathe to replace the Mac purely for Flash reasons when it does everything else pretty well. I use Camino 2.0b as a browser, if that makes a difference (don't think I could get it to work on Safari 3.2.1).

Actually, I've just tried Skritter again and it's much improved in terms of jerkiness, but it's still a little bit too jerky for me to use at the moment.

My work laptop runs IE6, and it definitely is incompatible!

I'll keep checking back. I really like the product, great job guys.

When you search google, make sure you use site:chinesepod.com in the search terms.

a1pi2, skritter with a mouse gives me severe hand pain. However, seeing as my aged Mac can't handle the Flash anyway, it's not much use to me :(
