July 13, 2009 at 2:25 PM@dunderklumpen -- cacophony is right. It's like being in a class where everyone reads at the same time.

July 3, 2009 at 3:29 AMI think this is useful. I learned 'an' being a shade closer to en as in 'ten'. It's good to get a refresher and hear Jenny and John talk about some of the pitfalls of pinyin. Bang Bang Mang -- that's just too close to home. (like Clay's "knee way show jong when ma?*" -- if anybody remembers that -- I about fell out of the chair. too funny)

June 28, 2009 at 8:02 AMHenning -- what about Elementary? Ele-friday?
A post or email with lesson schedules could suffice for those who want to know what's coming. I would agree -- having a consistent level-day relationship could help.

June 9, 2009 at 9:12 AM@jjfoerch -- you should be able to tell acrobat or other pdf viewers to put to scale the output to 8.5x11 paper.
@xuchen -- actually paying to get the menu would violate TMS principles -- but agreed. walking through a snagging a bill/menu would be easy, no purchase requires.
Speaking of menus -- recently found a dim sum menu from my last trip.

p.s. I did like the Pulp Fiction cut. The ethnic demographics are also good.

May 24, 2009 at 1:09 AMI also enjoyed this podcast. Some of the words I had picked up, others were much harder. Thanks Connie for putting all of this useful stuff in print.
