@matthiask

I've just spoken with customer support and confirmed that this is fine.

Hi eastcoastc -

The promotion is ChinesePod-specific. However, if you buy a 12-month Praxis Pass, we can certainly credit your account with USD139 (six months worth of Premium credit, as per the promotion), which you can put towards extending your Praxis Pass if you prefer.

It's a little complicated, but our lovely customer service team can help out by doing this manually.

They have suggested that you make your purchase and then send an email to support@praxislanguage.com explaining the situation.

To save time on the delivery of your ChinesePod Starter Kit, it will help also to include your postal address in this email.

I hope this helps?

user300409 -

The characters used in the workbook and CD-ROMs are Simplified rather than Traditional, yes.

babardwan,

It was so close! Your Matrix-inspired entry was particularly cool.

Please watch out for our second Twitter competition, coming up soon! ;-)

Hey bababardwan -

The Starter Pack is part of the promotion so, for the moment at least, it's only available this way.

May I just take this opportunity to thank you for your excellent entries in the facebook competition. Will be announcing winner at some point today...

Hi glfpsghreglfgf,

The Starter Pack's workbook is a book in the traditional (bound!) sense.

The book corresponds directly with the 100 lessons on the 2 CD-ROMs, containing the dialogue transcripts, translations and key vocab on subjects such as 'Daily Life' and 'Food & Drink'. It's pretty comprehensive and small enough to take around in a bag.

Just to clarify, the whole pack is sent out in the post upon purchase of the one-year Premium during May.

I hope that helps. Please do email us at support@praxislanguage.com or DM me if you need anything further!

Hi All -

The Facebook competition deadline, mentioned in this podcast, has been extended to April 30th (creativity cannot be rushed, we understand):

"How far would you go to learn Chinese FREE for a year?"

The most creative response, uploaded to our Facebook Page, will win a year's Premium access to ChinesePod.

- We're very much looking forward to learning what you would do/offer us, in return for such outrageous generosity!!

Bendidelaowai, we've also had some issues with Vimeo so Marco has kindly uploaded the trailer to youku.com, as above.
