I have a question about this sentence from the expansion:

我真服了你了,800米居然跑了10分钟。

Is this sarcastic, since one could walk 800 meters in 10 minutes?

Thanks Connie. It makes sense that way.

I am puzzled about the meaning of this expansion sentence:

老板不太满意这个报告重新一个

Is the speaker thinking aloud, and says: let me write a new one?  or

is it that 老板重新一个?

In the latter case, we might say, "the boss asked me to write a new one."

toianw,

I think you are hearing correctly. I also hear a second 了。

helencao answered the second part of your question.

My understanding of this:

The Chinese convention is that 二百五means 二百五十, just as 三块五 means 三块五毛。

205 would be 二百零五, I think.

If 205 were a room number, it would probably be 二零五。

Replying to myself:

The exercises tab exists only on the first page, not on the second page.

So, a minor problem only.

Hi connie,

Does that mean that 疯 is used as a verb in this construction? (i.e. to go crazy).

Can it be used as an adjective in another sentence?
