Thanks for your efforts. My understanding of the usage of 把 is clearly a little weak. I could also use a lesson in painting :)

I have a few questions about this sentence from the expansion:

你怎 么把太 阳涂成黄色的？

1. 怎 么 is translated as why rather than how.

2. 把 is used figuratively 把太 阳, although we do not know the full context of the situation. Is it someone painting on a printed image?

3. 涂 is used to mean "to paint". Does that require the use of 成 to say to paint it yellow?

Here is a beach I visited recently in Fujian Province, north of Fuzhou.

The sand was very red and fine. No one was "sunning". It was beautiful though.

By chance we tried to eat at the local 五芳斋粽子 (wǔfāngzhāizòngzi) place in Hangzhou (杭州) tonight. We could barely get in the door because of all the boxes of zongzi waiting to be delivered. The staff were carrying them outside to cars.  None of the 10 tables inside were available.  The entire shop was filled. Otherwise, we eat there about once a week, when we are in Hangzhou.  The zongzi are very good.

I think it is a colloquial form that stands for 两个（人）. It emphasizes the "two", as in English when we say "you two ..." or "those two ..."
