I also missed this!

Sunix seems like a cool guy.  His dialogues are always great, too.

This was discussed recently, but not in this lesson, perhaps. I can't find it here.

可是 usually means "but" or "however", but in this sentence it is actually 2 words.

可 means "really" or "very", and 是 means "is".

Thanks connie! I had forgotten the 爱心三明治. That was a funny dialogue, and John and Jenny, too. It is difficult to translate into English, especially since it can be used both personally and towards animals or people that you don't know.

I now tried the Advanced Search, and it turned up several Advanced lessons using 爱心, as well as these 2 Intermediate ones. So, it looks like the Search can be helpful. I need to remember that.

In this expansion sentence:

上周我们福利院小朋友们送去爱心书包
(Last week we sent backpacks to children at an orphanage to show we care.)

I found the placement of 爱心 confusing.  Is this short for a longer phrase, in this context?

hi connie, it is fixed on the pdf but not on the vocab or dialogue pages
