May 2, 2013 at 8:53 AM好的。“布局” is a word originally from chess playing. Chess player always has a strategy which we call as "局". "布局“ is a verb, which means player makes the strategy comes true (the process).
“NBA二十年前就开始在中国布局", it means 20 years ago, NBA started to play the game in China. ( Their strategy is to make China as a big market for NBA. So 布局 is they did a lot to make it true.
Other example:
美国通过日本、韩国、菲律宾等盟友，推进在亚洲的军事布局。
měi guó tōng guò rì běn 、hán guó 、fēi lǜ bīn děng méng yǒu ，tuī jìn zài yà zhōu de jun1 shì bù jú .

May 2, 2013 at 8:43 AMIt's 板蓝根, which is a famous Chinese medicine. It's the root of Isatis tinctoria L. or Baphicacanthus cusia (Nees) Brem (according Wikipedia). It is used to treat cold.
They mentioned it because some people believe it's useful to flu. So 2003 and now, some people used it a lot to prevent SARS and H7N9. But actually, it has never been proofed. On the contrary, it has side effect. So most doctors try to make people not use it too much.
