但是“所以”，肯定是“因為”, there is 'reason'-'so'.

Spend less time on Elementary and just work on the word or phrase you didn't get via the podcast. But for intermediate, please spend more time on each word and sentences.

April 22, 2013 at 2:35 AMWhat you learned from your class is right. 这么 and 那么 is a little bit confusing. Because they have so many different meanings in different context.
”那么说不对“ ”那么说“ is a pronoun part for an antecedent. It's a noun. 'What you said is wrong'. 那么说=what you said.
What you learned in class, 这么说，我要去图书馆准备一下。 Here is 'so then...' It's used when you get a conclusion based on what other people said.

1. bai3：a kind of tree or a surname.
2. bo2: foreign place: Berlin/Dublin.
3. bo3: 黄柏 a kind of plant。(Please search Google for picture).
For first name, one can pick which pronunciation they like.
