March 5, 2010 at 5:59 PMI think 女朋友 should be 'girlfriend' not the girl that he wants to date. In this dialogue it seems, 他的女朋友生气了. His girl friend is unhappy. Maybe he did something offend his 女朋友.

March 5, 2010 at 12:42 AMI think 真的 is an adv, which emphasize it's true not "假的"( I didn't cheat). So it is usually used before both verb and adj. For example: 我真的喜欢你;我真的没有吃饭。In this case I think 真could replace 真的: 我真喜欢你。我真没吃饭。
Besides that, 真 is an adv which also means: really, so, very, extremely. 她真漂亮。中国人真多。

February 4, 2010 at 1:42 PMYes, it sounds like an voice mail message. If you use it in your office, it could be: I am not at my office right now, but I will call you back soon.
In China, we don't use voice mail as much as American. Actually I only left voice mail once in China since I was born.
