做 or 作, usually if it means 'make' or 'do', they are similar. Usually if it's something abstract, we use 作, such as 作文、作诗。If it is something concrete, we use 做 more.

受 and 收。受 is like 'accept' and 收 is more like ‘receive'. Generally speaking,’收‘ is used widely. 受 usually should be followed by another character and used as a word.

Hi. You are right. 简单 = simple; 容易=easy. However, in Chinese 简单=simple or easy. If you want to use 'easy', either one is OK. If you want to say 'simple', please just use 简单。

Thank you for your good idea. 当铺 is not that common. I searched Google, it pop-out around 40 当铺 in Shanghai.

借钱 also means lend money. When I learn English it's tricky for me to use 'borrow' or 'lend' since there is no difference in Chinese.

I think 超市大卖场 has a produce section. There is Walmart and Super Walmart. 超市大卖场 is like Super Walmart which has a produce section.

Hello Lamartiniere,

There is a simply way to know the order. The subject is always at the end. For example, When you say 妈妈的帽子, the subject is 'hat' not 'mom'. In expansion, the sentence is : 这个牌子的巧克力很好吃= something is tasty. So the subject should be 'chocolate'. The brand is not tasty, right?

If you want to say: The brand is new. Then it should be 巧克力的牌子很新。

Does it make sense?

Yes, you can take off 的 in this case.

我又听了一遍,都找到啦,不好意思。

@4.05“让”你投入生产需要钱。

这个不是让是“说”,不过Jiaojie说得很快。

@4.40 比如说“信息打开有时候我发现有几十封邮件要会回”。

这个不是‘信息’,是‘星期一’。

@5.48“招收”那些技术工人。

这个没问题

@6.04Lu Jiao Jie“啊有点索性”。

jiaojie说了:‘就叫-索性“。不过就叫Jiaojie说得也很快。

@7.40我“经常”好像我听说过。

不是”经常“,是”记得“

@15.34 我房子“占的”那个地方。

这个也没问题!

I don't think we will say 'zai jia li yuo shi'. They are different patterns. 'zai jia li' is 'at home'. It is a location. 'Jia li' is a noun. So here 'zai jia li' is a subject. It doesn't matter if it a 'location' or 'subject' for user. But just use the first one as a native speaker. :-)
