还要什么吗 ?

I've already seen 什么 and 吗 in the same sentence but I'm not sure it's in this kind of sentence. Is it possible to find these two words together but with another meaning than "Would you like anything else" ?

I was very interested in Chinese 口音 and  I don't know if there's a complete serie about it. But I'm very interested but "Chinese way of life". As I don't live there, it's important for me to learn more about the way Chinese people live. Some very simple questions about prices (rentals, salaries, taxes, social security, retirement, and so on), SMS, internet. Everything in fact ! But I love the lessons about culture (Baby's first month birthday, by example). I already can get someanswers through your lessons and that's great. So: thanks guys !!

I've got the same questions and would be very interested in learning about that. I sometimes feel like I was walking on eggshells with Chinese people. And maybe that's stupid but in fact, as I don't know I prefer to be careful (I don't want to be rude).

Great lesson, thanks !

John is a very good actor. And it's cool to see the three main uses written on the pdf. Thanks for that too !

我记得有一个课程叫 "给力"可是我也不知道到底是什么意思。 汉语到底不好学。

Hi Tgif !

I use Audacity but I don't know how to change vocal characteristics (and in what way it changes them). Can you explain, if you please ?

But Malilaoshi is right to say that it's better to listen as wide a variety of voices (and probably accents too) possible. Even if it can be "bitter"...

Yes, you're right, that's why I want to learn more about it ! And that's why I'm very happy to learn Chinese on Chinesepod, it's much better than learning in books !! :)

请问, "打扰" 跟 "麻烦" 有什么区别 ? 比如在 expansion 的这个 句子:
不好意思,打扰一下,你们知道邮局在哪儿吗?
可不可以使用麻烦代替打扰 ?
Maybe it's just in this context.
还有一个问题: 如果邻居是对面的 (the door in front of mine), 就 应该怎么说 ?
I'm puzzled by what you say about buying an appartment but not renting it. I've heard that in Shanghai there are too many new buildings and it's not good for Shanghai. So if many appartements are empty, why is it still possible to build new ones ? You don't have to get a building permit from the municipality ?

Oh là là ! I'm even more frustrated than usually because even in English I don't understand everything... It's a pity because it's very interesting but I will have to look in a dictionnary what "shenanigans" means, by example (funny word, anyway).

But I'm still learning a lot by the forum. Do really men must buy a house before getting married ? Is it the women who want it to be that way or their parents ? I mean: are the women so materialist or do the parents want to be sure that the daughter will live confortably ?
