Got a question.

I have noticed that 将 is written differently on this website than how I have seen it before.  Take a look at this picture:

Notice the left one is like the one used on CPod's website (except I just noticed that I drew the hand radical a little differently).  The right one is how I have seen it in the past, and oddly enough, how it looks like on this website if I use Opera on my phone.  The top right radical is clearly different.  What is the reason for this?  Is it that one is a handwritten form while the other is a typeface?

I agree that flipflop is a funny name if I stop to think about it, but thong is infinitely more so when both meanings are taken into consideration, at least for me. I know it is hard to consider something odd or amusing that which one has always considered normal. I'm sure Brits are annoyed when Americans snicker when they use their word for what we call "eraser." Anyway...

You heard of this usage of thong in America? I'm surprised. Go figure.

Anyway, I recall one Australian here, bo... (oh never mind), who said that he thought it was funny when Americans say "root for such-and-such team." I guess this is our revenge :-).
