I have a question.  You said 昨天晚上 (zuo2tian1wan3shang4) in the dialog.  Sometimes I see written 昨晚 (zuo2wan3).  I'm never clear if this is often used in oral Chinese.  Is it?

Ahhh, then the problem becomes that I will be too familiar with the text.  I know everybody probably thinks that I am weird and picky, so if I can know if I have to wait, say, one day, two weeks or forever, I'll let it be at that.  I have to admit I'm a bit puzzled as to why they can't just use Connie and Pete's correct file to generate and upload a new pdf.  After all, they often modify existing pdfs.  Seems like a two minute procedure to me.  I guess that it is easier said than done.  Anyway...

It is part of my routine for practicing my listening ability, and yes, order is VERY important, or my technique is useless.  I have been looking forward to this lesson, and have been putting it off until they fix it.  That said, I know asking a question like this looks impatient, but really, I just want to know if something is going on.  I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry, and it is fine if they put it on the back-burner.  Still, as I said, I would like to know.

Is there an ETA on the fixed pdf?  Is there any reason it can't be manually fixed and uploaded?

I find it amazing that there isn't a more direct way to express 'instead of', but I believe you, partly because I looked at some examples online and they were similiar to yours.

Thanks for responding.  Check out 时光穿梭机.  It is in the first line of the dialog, but it is number 14 in the vocab list.  移动 is listed as the first vocabulary word, but I'm not even sure it is in the dialog.  These are not the only problems.  Is it possible my pdf is different than yours?
