there are some internet slangs in the  recent year:

1. 佛系少女  it is to describe some girl that she doesn't want to spend time to socialize and she just likes to stay alone. 

2.小哥哥/小姐姐 it means "small brother, small sister"  It is the name for the young and pretty/handsome girl/ guys.  

3.土味. it is to describe something that is unfashionable and very low level. such as: 网络上的杀马特造型很土 (these guys one the internet

   who dress punk style are very low level.)

I checked on the internet, it says in China the colors of the rainbow are: 红，橙，黄，绿，青，蓝，紫

while in the western countries they are: 红、橙、黄、绿、蓝、靛 (Indigo)、紫

so, can someone explain what is the color of 靛?

Thanks for this lesson, I reminded of another 2 words "请假."  and  "请示."  this "请”  here means to ask for something. 

eg: 我想请假

I would like to ask for leave 

我要请示一下我的领导

I would like to ask for permission from my supervisor.

eg: 黑白电视机

     black and white television. 

      不管美丑，只要人好就行。

     no matter you are good-looking or not, as long as you are a nice person.

I think “遗憾” would better be translated as "pity." 

for example:

我们遗憾地表示你没有中奖。这里的遗憾表示对他没有中奖这件事感到可惜，惋惜。而不是后悔
