不过话说回来，“书到用时方恨少”，如今在报社工作，我还是很感谢当年拼命阅读背诵打下的扎实基本功的。教育制度的改变并非一朝一夕，不过和其他制度一样，总会与时俱进的。

That said, it's only when you make use of your knowledge that you wish you'd learned more. Now I'm working for a newspaper, I'm really grateful for all that reading and learning off by heart I did back in the day to give myself a good basic knowledge. Changing the education system doesn't happen overnight, but rather, like other systems, it progresses over time.
