China has seen massive changes during the past 30 years. Today we look at the experience of 3 individuals: one born in the 1970’s, one from the 80’s and one from the 90’s, to show you how the transformation in China changed their lives and shaped how they see the world. You will learn what it was like growing up during the Cultural Revolution, the Reform and Opening Up period and the more free and affluent 90's.

  15. 存款 Cúnkuǎn: savings
  16. 负债 Fùzhài: debt
  17. 零花钱 Línghuā qián: pocket money
