I'm a day late, but happy birthday John! I don't think a year ago when I visited (already been a year?) it was right around your birthday.... now I know! :)

Whoah.. the first girl to blow out the candles got them all in one go! :) haha..
I love the repetition in that video clip. I wish there was more clips that had so much repetition... may be less than that but enough to hear the same thing a few times..

Let me just say Happy Birthday, John. Poor uncle changye has been struggling for restoring the PC today, and 好像是 差不多 finished. But the Internet speed is incredibly slow!

Looks like I have the last character wrong there.. hrmm.. I meant it to be 巴 at least I think that is the correct way to use it.. anyway.. the intention was there.. and I didn't have to look it up at all.. :)

bazza,
I found that John was born in 1978 and it was the year of horse, so I found a birthday cake picture that with a horse.

Bazza,
and casie also said that the 马 stands for 马到成功 (mǎ dào chéng gōng) which means "instant success" according to both dict.cn and CEDICT.
