Thanks for the question!

You've noticed a very interesting usage in Chinese that we sometimes use the verb twice!

Both "提" means "to lift". "提提神" is the same as "提神", but in oral conversation, people often repeat the verb to make it sound more casual. Another example 饭后,父亲让孩子赶紧擦擦嘴.

Thank you for this very thoughtful question!

Both versions are correct, but the meaning is slightly different. When we use 大量 in front of 喝咖啡, it emphasizes that the frequency of coffee drinking is very high. In 喝很多咖啡, it emphasizes that the amount of coffee is large.

門口 is the modifier of 咖啡店. The full sentence should be 門口的咖啡店的隊都排到街上了.

Hahaha, because the lady says that her dog is her son!

But normally, we refer to animals by 它.

Thanks for the question!

"认知" is to be translated as cognition, it's more scientific and abstract knowledge or understanding. For example 阿茲海默症患者常伴有认知障碍.

"认识" is translated as perception, recognition, or realization. For example 我认识到了错误。

That's a very good question!

I would say that we normally use 其他 instead of 其它. There is still a small distinction between the two: 其他 refers to "other people" (because of 他) but when 其它 means "others things or animals" (because of 它). But nowadays, for consistency, people mostly use 其他.

哈哈哈,没错,我们不仅有“口福”的说法,也有“眼福”呢!“口福”是说吃得很好,或者胃口很好;而“眼福”呢,就是总能看到美好的事物,或者是被美好的事物环抱,比如说:他娶了一个明星一般的老婆,天天都能大饱眼福呀!

没错,“劳动合同”是更正式的、法律上的说法,这里主要是想强调包含“雇佣关系”的那种合同。

Yes, they're very similar. "许久不见" is more formal, and often used in letters. "好久不见" is more often used in normal conversations.
