I would say both works. If you use "我", it emphasizes that I'm being starved. But if you use “人", which still refers to "me" in this sentence, it sounds more polite and less self-centered. Because if one says “人都要饿扁了", it only points out the fact that the customer has waited too long. “我都要饿扁了” is more appropriate when speaking to your parents, or people you have more intimate relations with.

Hahaha, you should probably look more carefully. In this context, the person complaining is chatting online with his colleague, and the colleague uses memes. So he is looking at (看) the memes, instead of listening (听) to them.

You can expand "倒" into either "倒是" or "反倒", both indicate that the situation is opposite/different from expectation. But "倒" alone works in this sentence.

Hi, thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply!

"基本" here is the same as the adverb "基本上", which means "mainly; largely; basically". "稳定” means "stable".

So it literally means "mainly stable". But I believe this is a very vague word, because who can decide how much fluctuation is still basically stable and how much is not?

"招致“means "to incur", "导致" means "to result in; to lead to".

In order to analyze the difference, we should pay attention to "招", as in 招来, it means to attract. So “招致” indicates that the consequence incurred is almost intentional. for example 他们两整天举止亲密,自然会招致非议。

“导致" is a more objective verb connecting the cause and the effect. for example 过度伐木导致这里的许多生物灭绝。

Haha, you spotted me! It's sometimes very hard for my tongue to distinguish whether it's front or back nasal. But I'm still working on it!

Yes, this one is a bit hard to understand.

Basically, it means that everyone has its own preferences, to eat the white radish in a salty (咸) way or plain (淡)way. But people use it to warn others to mind their own business and don't even worry about (操心) what others are doing.

哈哈哈哈,看来在中文里很多描述心情的词汇都和“吃”有关呢,再提供一个:吃了秤砣铁了心,形容一个人非常的坚定或者是固执,简直就像吃了一个沉重的“秤砣”(weights) 一样!

举个例子:周围所有人都劝他放弃这个想法,他却吃了秤砣铁了心似的,一定要把这件事情做成。
