“其” is a pronoun that refers to both sides (两个方面) here.  “两全其美” means to satisfy both sides or parties, but 一举两得 focuses on one action (一举)--to achieve two things at one stroke. In “两全其美”, there are often two parties or two sides and the action influences them both in positive ways, but 一举两得 could simply be that one action has two achievements. 

比如说：参加学习型旅行能够一举两得，边旅游边学习，但却不一定能两全其美，毕竟很难把两者都兼顾好。

Hi, thanks for pointing out the inconsistency here. 拖累's correct pinyin is tuōlěi, the third tone. 累 is a complicated word with three different pronunciations: 

1, lei3: 连续、重叠的意思，或者是指连带、牵连。“拖累”是指使人受到牵累，即牵连和连累，因此在这里应该读第三声；

2，lei4: 疲乏、疲劳的意思。在日常生活中比较常用，常见的词组有：劳累、受累等。

3，lei2: 连续成串、很多的意思。在“果实累累”中，“累”是第二声，表示果实很多、多的无法计算了。

感谢你指出这个多音字，我们确实在音频当中把“累”当作了第四声，但仔细研究词语的意思的话，这里确实应该读第三声。

"态势" can be translated as "state" or "situation". It often refers to a trend that is likely to continue, instead of some temporary situation. 

“态” 是状态的态，“势”是“势头”、“趋势”的势。连起来就是指事物的状态和发展趋势。
