• have majority Chinese patrons
• have Chinese menu
• have Chinese speaking waiters

And fortune cookies are a definite no-no.

Finally, I really hate so called "fusion" food.

I think we both agree that the root cause of begging is poverty. That's why I believe that public money is best spent on addressing the root cause; how to improve the economy and create jobs so that those in poverty can work their way out of their situation.

Simply giving money or handouts to beggars will not fix the problem of poverty, it just exacerbates the symptom.

I'm not American so I don't follow the politics there or know of Romney's policies.

I do know that for society to function, there must be more net givers than takers. Beggars are pure takers who contribute nothing to the economy. Therefore, provided they are working age and able-bodied, they should be persuaded or compelled to stop their parasitic lifestyle. Giving money to them, either from givers in the street or public hand-outs, without any reciprocal effort to improve their situation, only encourages more takers. Instead, public money can be better spent on assisting the givers (entrepreneurs, innovators etc) create more successful businesses and jobs. More jobs mean less takers and a better society overall.

(I wish I could've written all that in Chinese... maybe one day)

When I read 丢下我们走了, I thought the son abandoned them and ran away. Does this always mean dead?

What about people who are single or can't have a kid, are they not allowed to go to nursing homes?
