March 7, 2012 at 7:16 PMThis lesson is indeed suited for video. It would be hard to describe the 麻将 pieces with words alone.
Personally I think it would be more engaging if John and Jenny speak to the camera, i.e. viewers, from time to time rather than just to each other.

February 21, 2012 at 10:11 PMI suppose 水族馆 refers to the building right? I think the aquariums that people keep in their homes are called 鱼缸.

September 13, 2011 at 7:37 AMI understand the bit about limitations of Basic account. However, the Dialogue transcript is something that I can download from the website anyway as a PDF, so its odd that its not available to the mobile app. They both contain the same info. Its not logical to make the mobile app have less privilege than the website.

September 13, 2011 at 4:02 AMI'm on Android. Tried sign out, sign in, delete files and resync. Still no dialogue & vocabulary sheets. Never mind, I'll just download PDF from website. At least I can still listen to the podcast on the Android app.

April 3, 2012 at 11:14 PMGood lesson with lots of vocabulary. However the HR advice is depressingly bad. Using rewards & punishment to motivate? Only works on kids. What really motivates professionals is a sense of mastery, autonomy & purpose ( Dan Pink's science of motivation). And you must never reward high achievers with just monetary rewards, its counter-productive. I hope ChinesePod's HR is better than this.
