January 21, 2008 at 6:12 AMhi ladave et al, 好得不得了 (hǎo de bùdéliǎo) The first “得” (de) is adj.+ 得 (de) the second “得” (de) is simply part of the set phrase: 不得了 (bùdéliǎo) is a set phrase

January 21, 2008 at 6:09 AMhi heruilin, 又沒有教育性又沒有乐趣 (Yòu méiyǒu jiàoyùxìng yòu méiyǒu lèqù.) Your sentence is correct. We have a Qing Wen episode coming out on this today as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that! Prepositions are used a lot less in Chinese than in English. A preposition is not necessary in our expansion sentence you quoted here. Your second sentence (酒吧是最合適的聚會的地方) is better expressed in Chinese as follows: 酒吧是最适合聚会的地方。 (Jiǔbā shì zuì shìhé jùhuì de dìfang.)
