Your sentence corrected would be either of these:
我不喜欢在办公室打着领带。
Wǒ bù xǐhuan zài bàngōngshì dǎ zhe lǐngdài.
我工作的时候不喜欢打着领带。
Wǒ gōngzuò de shíhou bù xǐhuan dǎzhe lǐngdài.
and your vocab:
boots 靴子 (xuēzi)
slippers 拖鞋 (tuōxié)
velcro 魔术贴 (móshùtiē)

You could, but it is not the most natural way to say it. The usual way to attribute two qualities to someone would be in either of these sentence patterns:
他很自私，也很懒惰。(Tā hěn zìsī, yě hěn lǎnduò.)
他又自私又懒惰。 (Tā yòu zìsī yòu lǎnduò.)
