@lujiaojie - thanks! When I first started learnig, about two and a half years ago, 吃了吗? was one one my fisrt expressions learned, so was a little bit supprised to hear 吃过了吗? Thanks again

Can (你)吃了吗 be used instead of 吃过了吗?

Before I'd made any Chinese friends I would never even want bones on my plate. Now, I'm getting used to the 'picking at bones,' not that I've had any choice... until now. Culturaly, I enjoy eating with bones, it's just, they're so messy. Jenny, what were the soft bones you mentioned? Came into interesting word last week: 卜骨

I'm a big fan of flash card feature, and the export feature has made it even better. I use FullRecall on my windows mobile, so have to change the CSV file into a Tab-Deliminated file, which is a bit of a headache. However, FullRecall have offered to try and remove this step on their next upgrade, which is good news.
