July 29, 2014 at 11:12 PMIt's very, very common to use it with adjectives. Just one of the several meanings of 好 other than good. Some other common examples:
好聪明
好舒服
好便宜 好贵
and of course there's the great phrase 好久不见 (long time no see)

我个人觉得中文越好就越难再提高自己的水平，想再进步还是要付出越来越多，花越来越多的时间。也许我们还是一直都在进步，只不过我们没有感觉到而已。反正，I personally believe that what helps me the most is a lot of input and a little output. I still remember something my piano instructor used to say to me: It shouldn't be "practice makes perfect" it's "perfect practice makes perfect." I have actually avoided "practicing" a lot while learning Chinese because I think it's difficult to unlearn mistakes.
