双数/偶数 = even numbers
单数/奇数 = odd numbers
双数/单数 are more commonly used in conversation.

Other news reports say that "pandering" is still not enough and some Chinese guys complain, as is often the case, that this movie disgraces China since a lot of poor Chinese people were not saved in the movie. I think the director should've made both "China edition" and "International edition" for this movie to make everybody happy. As you might know, it's not so easy to placate red (necked) China.

谢谢你让我想起来这个句子！说实话，我写那个帖子的时候很想用这句中国名言，不过很遗憾那时我记得不太清楚，想了很久，但怎么也想不起来了。"己所不欲，勿施于人"这个说法对我们日本人来讲就是非常重要的一种“规矩”。确实像你说的那样，在日本社会“不该做”的事情比较多，但是“该做”的事情好像没有欧美社会那么多。我不知哪个更好！

Grammatically, the "得" in "舍得/舍不得" is a particle that implies "can, be able to". For example,
这个菜吃得吗？Can I eat this dish?
这个菜吃不得。 You can't eat this dish.
"舍" means "throw, give away, leave", so "舍不得" literally means "can't give away" and figuratively means "unwilling to do ～" mainly because you don't want to lose something such as money, time, love and etc. "舍不得" also means "don't want to leave sb".
"舍不得" can be followed by both a noun and a verb.
我舍不得钱。 I don't want to spend money.
我舍不得花钱。 I don't want to spend money.
我舍不得你。 I don't want to leave you.
我舍不得离开你。I don't want to leave you.

我的看法和你恰恰相反。农产品期货很受国内外天气影响，比股票更有风险。买股票也不太安全，总是会有暴跌的风险。我认为最稳定的还是“中国人民币”，在大银行存钱最安全，因为中国政府能很有效地操作控制人民币汇率和存贷款利率。我愿意承认像我这样的“胆小鬼”永远发不了大财，说实在的，这一辈子我甚至没有买过一张彩票，哈哈。 没有共产党就没有新中国，没有风险就没有收获。这个说法确实很对呀！

You can also say "舍不得扔东西" instead of "不舍得扔东西".
