光阴似箭 Time flies.
岁月不待人 Time waits for no one.
时间就是金钱/一寸光阴一寸金 Time is money.
There are the same sayings in Japanese.

我认为在中国最危险的交通工具就是出租车,其次是长途大巴,然后是市内公车,最安全的好像还是火车,所以我平时尽量少坐出租车。按概率来说,飞机比火车还要安全,不过我从小就很害怕坐飞机。我除了往返日本以外绝对不坐飞机!

I think you translated 吓呆 and 帅呆 into proper English, which I couldn't think of last night!

July 30, 2009 at 1:00 AMI googled 爆好 and 巨好 to find that the two words are very commonly used on the Internet. However please don't expect them to be used in news articles, hehe. Here are some (attractive) phrases shown on the first page of the search results.
身材爆好的美女,身材巨好的韩国美女

The word 帅呆 has the similar grammatical structure as 吓呆 (xia4dai1), which means "吓得我发呆". I guess that 帅呆 might be a sort of abbreviation of "帅得我发呆".

I couldn't agree more. Actually Chinese people are very goog at using metaphors, which are often extraordinarily humorous or ironical and make conversations lively. Here is a good example I heard the other day.
a) 你爱老婆吗?
b) 当然喽,我爱老婆就像爱鞋垫儿似的!
