I always find their dialogues/questions/answers to be very intriguing to me, an intermediate learner. On the other hand, I must say that you slightly missed the point in your second paragraph, where you wrote about typos in English. The purpose of Chinesepod is of course to provide a place to learn Chinese, not English. Mistakes in Chinese and in English are two different things at least here. You can’t put them in the same arena. p.s. I know you were only joking！

The bottom line is that everyone has the right to post comments in Chinese and to skip them. It is completely up to you, and nobody forces you.

When I come across new-to-me words or expressions there, I certainly look them up in dictionaries and check if their usages are correct. After all, probably just like some other poddies, I write posts in Chinese for improving MY writing skills, sorry not for yours. Anyway, nobody is being forced to read those a-little-show-off postings if you don’t want to.
