February 27, 2010 at 3:13 AMThere are some Chinese tea names that have "a color name" in them, such as 绿茶 (green),黑茶 (black),黄茶 (yellow),青茶 (blue),and even 白茶 (white)!

> Rainbow surely needs a plenty of water
That really makes sense. Furthermore, it seems to me that the colors of the rainbow suggests that your face becomes red first, and later becomes pale if you drink too much.

Looks like Czechs are a very romantic people! I wonder what story/etymology there is behind the "drink like a rainbow". Incidentally, I hear Korean guys drink as if there was no tomorrow, hehe. I don't know about Danes.

I recommend you watch “中国网络电视台” (CNTV, China Net TV), which has recently been launched in the PRC. The contents are as "shit" as those broadcast by CCTV, but at least you won't be bothered by tons of advertisements and sloppy scheduling.

在中国历史剧里经常听到被抓的贪官喊,“皇上!奴才冤枉啊!” (His Imperial Majesty, I was framed!)。“冤枉”这个词也比较常用。

The “不如” has the second meaning "it would be better off ~", as you expected. I think “我的中文能力不如他” should be better.

I agree. The national flag of the PRC is called “五星红旗”. “红色” is the color of "revolution" and "communism" for Chinese people.
