@jianxuexi

"I like the seat in the middle back row? "

I would say:

Wǒ xǐhuān zhōngjiān kào hòupái de zuòwèi.

靠 kào means "close to". Not the last row, just back rows.

:)

Where do you like to sit in the cinema?

The seat in the front rows  (qián pái de zuò wèi

or the seat in the back (hòu pái de zuò wèi) ?

The seat in the middle (zhōng jiān de zuò wèi)

or the seat on the side (páng biān de zuò wèi)?

......

I like the seat in the middle back rows.  ^^

活生生 has two usages:

2. 活生生 can also mean "livingly" - similar to "活活地"

   e.g. In this Dialogue, “你这个小坏蛋,活生生把最后一个好男人拉下水了!"

@pretzellogic

Thank you for your good suggestions on combating jet lag. I think they are quite useful. Actually, my opposite-door neighbours are a couple from USA. They are Chinese Americans. Everytime they come back to China from America, they need at least three days to  adapt themselves to the local time by sleeping a lot. I think it's quite a long time. Next time when they're back, I'll bring your advice to them.   ~~~~  ^^
