Bob's face went white. For a second or two he thought that Scrooge had gone crazy.

"A merry Christmas, Bob!" said Scrooge, and it was clear that he meant it.
"鲍勃, 祝你有一个，比我以前给你的更为快乐的圣诞.
"A merrier Christmas, Bob, than I've given you for a long time.

I'm going to pay you well, and help you with your family, and we'll discuss it all this afternoon over a Christmas drink, Bob!

Put more wood on the fire at once, Bob Cratchit, and let's be comfortable!"
斯克罗吉说现了他所有的承诺，甚至更多.
Scrooge did everything that he had promised, and more.

To Tiny Tim, who did not die, he became a second father.

December 9, 2011 at 2:18 AMdon't know about you family, but I have not spared the rod or joked about the concept with my family and my 2 children and they are excellent and well behaved. I can tell many children in China were spared the rod, I've taught too many of them. It's a real shame. Common sense can never be 'behind the times'. Nor can those children who have not received the true attention that they deserved and needed have a really good chance of ever respecting someone other then themselves or lead a fulfilling and happy life. Too bad touchie feelie liberalism has robbed most modern children the important lessons they have badly needed to be taught to them.

November 18, 2011 at 5:30 PM听说因为文化革命有些地方食料不够所以有人变成食人。现代化以后有些人跟中共样子的控制自己的家人用厉害的手段，放弃又不方便又失望的家人。人民的领导人们劝力真作威作福，人民也变成这样的。这样的控制真不是远见的看法。

罗马天主教教宗本笃十六世24日痛批圣诞节已变得日益商业化，他呼吁信众们越过节日的“浮光掠影”，把焦点集中在降生在伯利恒马槽里的耶稣基督，以及圣诞节的真正意义上。
星期六，圣彼得大教堂挤满了人群，教宗本笃十六世在圣彼得广场举行圣诞除夕的子夜弥撒。与此同时，数万朝圣者和游客星期六陆续抵达据信是耶稣诞生地的伯利恒庆祝圣诞节。罗马天主教在圣地的最高神职人员、拉丁礼宗主教西尼乌拉在圣诞教堂主持了弥撒，祈祷“整个中东地区的和平、稳定与安全”。教堂所在的原址据信是圣母玛利亚生下耶稣的地点。
84岁的教宗还将在25日于圣彼得广场向全球信徒发表圣诞讲话。
