September 23, 2014 at 4:30 PMI agree to most of your suggestions, despite the one to one translation, that is often not hitting the point, because there is more than one meaning. I like to hear some sample sentences, especially for not so frequently used words.
I like the samples in the vocabulary section.
to hear a non native speak is often helping me, mostly by recognizing the wrong tone and the activation of my internal tone correction unit ;-)

September 22, 2014 at 1:20 PMnot one chinese i asked thinks, that this is right. They say, most of the sentences are wrong.老师说的话你要听听 could be right , but the meaning is ' you only should listen'. the meaning is 'whatever you do or not'
it is like: 这个事情我们听听就好。
They say, your sentences with the duplication sound really weird.
They don´t think, that you are really chinese ;-) - what do you say now????
I am writing this to throw some pepper into the topic, not to blame anybody.
just want to understand better!

September 19, 2014 at 2:14 PMas cang 藏 is also the name for Tibet, spoken zang4, it is maybe often duplicated like Tibet, Tibet.
actually, in Google i found, that often cang is zang4 and means Tibet, so i wouldn´t give too much on it.
