thanks calkins, so you want to give the location first sichuan 四川, then the place university 大学 and then the verb "studying Chinese" 学中文?

(I thought you needed to say 学习中文?)

我是学生在大学学习中文在四川

That is my attempt at: I am a student studying Chinese at a University in Sichuan.

Maybe the order is a bit mixed up. Still very much a newbie, would appreciate any pointers.
