Is it ok to call older women 奶奶 nǎinai (grandma)?
I've heard another of my foreign friends do that.

When did 外国人 attain this status of handsomeness in China?
I've read about the Boxer Riots and stuff like that where Chinese people hated foreigners so I'd be interested to learn how this switch occurred.
