August 20, 2012 at 6:14 AMWow no way, I still find it hard to believe when people from outside WA know about kal, we kinda have a pretty low opinion of ourselves.
You should travel around WA more bodawei, theres some fantastic scenery and beaches to be experienced, especially Northern WA in the kimberley and pilbara regions, and Esperance in the south of WA has the best beaches in Australia.

August 20, 2012 at 6:11 AMBut the place place to see Pandas in China is in 雅安 Yǎ'ān which is a little town in sichuan just off the tibetan plateau.
I went there for Chinese New Year to visit a friend and we went and saw the Pandas there, it was also snowing which was cool for me being a-mainly-snow-less-Aussie.

August 16, 2012 at 4:39 AMNo I don't live in a "big city" only about 1 million people live here. Which makes it not big enough to appear on world maps however in Australia my hometown of kalgoorlie only has 35,000 people but does appears on world maps .

August 15, 2012 at 10:50 AMGreat lesson! I take taxis all the time in China and although I've lived here almost two years this month, my taxi vocab is still really limited to, "this place... up ahead... turn left.... stop here... please don't hit that pedestrian etc."
so Its good to get a broader set of vocab.
I wonder a little bit about why Dilu chooses to say some words in english though, for example "exactly" and "trustworthy" is that intentional?
