here are my oppions.

长 is a verb in the first example.

It means "grow",it like "长"in“成长”cheng2zhang3、“长大”zhang3da4。

when asked 他长什么样 ,the answer will focus on "what does he look like",while answering"他长得怎么样",the answer may focus on "is he handsome,tall,healthy?"

奏 is used more often in written chinese,just like"奏乐".And when you say "奏乐",the pictrue in our minds is like a huge amount of people sitting in a hall and listening to the music.

But when you say"玩音乐",it is a morden saying of oral chinese. When we say he is a"玩音乐的人",that means his work is related to music.But you dont know weather he “奏乐”(which only means play the instruments)or composing music.

In the 4 sentences above,i think you can replace "看来"、“看起来”with“好像”,but if in some other context,i dont think so.

看起来and看上去：It is used when you know something or you get some information from the surface.

e.g.1.他脸色苍白，看起来好像生病了。(You get your conclusion of "他生病了"by his looks. and you see,in this context,we can use both "看起来"and"好像")

2.这个蛋糕 看起来/看上去 很好吃。((You get your conclusion of "蛋糕很好吃"by its looks,and we cannot replace them with"好像" in this sentence)

看来：It is used when you know something by inference.

e.g 他又约你看电影(which means you got the idea of 他爱上你了after thinking about it)，看来他爱上你了。
