August 28, 2012 at 2:49 AMIt is confusing. 没 should not use 了, because 了means the action is done. Since 没 also means action is done, we just omit 了. But 多久没……了。This 了 doesn't mean 'done'. It is an 'Auxiliary word of tone'.
That's the reason why 了is there. Simply, I would say just remember 多久……了 as a sentence pattern. :)
