Seems not a huge difference. Some says ‘桌球’ is used more often in Hongkong. But to be honest, we use that a lot in Shanghai, too.

This is a special case. Because 在 here is a complement. Such as 出来/起来. If a verb is followed by a complement, then 了 should be after the complement. For example: 站起来了。出现在了。

It is confusing. 没 should not use 了, because 了means the action is done. Since 没 also means action is done, we just omit 了. But 多久没……了。This 了 doesn't mean 'done'. It is an 'Auxiliary word of tone'.

That's the reason why 了is there. Simply, I would say just remember 多久……了 as a sentence pattern. :)

Seems it works. Could you change another browser? It might work. I use Firefox.
