I agree with wenjong -- I think washroom is more neutral and polite. It's also easier to say. A lot of Chinese will also recognize "WC". So 说”洗手间“ 比 “厕所” 容易。Plus you can make a motion like you are washing your hands when saying "xǐ shǒu jiān".

apparently the change is not propagated. The first 45 sec is an intro to a lesson about vegetables, then the dialog is about umbrella opportunism. The translation then is about the vegetable lesson... 我不吃伞。 什么课都有意思。

Maybe the think to do is paint sticks with gold or silver paint and give them as gifts.

I forgot all about this 'holiday'. Hoping not to be single for it. Anyway my friends invited me to a party -- I will be the only single person there. I will thank them for taking time to celebrate my holiday. It's should be fun.

For a long time the kindle app did not have search or dictionary built it. The kindle screen is good as zoollah said. Also the battery life is very good. You can go many days without charging.

Very timely lesson. This is in the top five for practicality.

Just woke up! Gotta go!

Most maps use a Mercator projection (sphere onto a cylinder, then unroll the cylinder). That makes Alaska look huge. I think China has more mountainous and desert area than the US. It would be interesting to compare the two at the coastal level or big city level.
