People's Square is a nice place, but an odd thing I saw there once was lots of Chinese parents advertising there son or daughter for love/marriage with a picture/advert. Quite bizarre, material for a lesson perhaps? Interesting, if not just from a cultural point to say the least!

I think an apology is not necessary, I live in the UK and although it is a public holiday, most people just see it as a day-off and a time when many people go shopping. I went once myself but the sheer number of people made it not the best experience I've had to say the least!

I would say a better translation may be: How do these clothes look? We would never use the word 'article'.
