我看现在城市化就是征地、拆迁、盖楼。基础建设搞得再好，楼房盖得再多有什么用。那个小城能吸纳多少农民就业？农民就是都住进楼房也变不成城里人。就说早几年被征地的那几个村吧，倒是家家住进了楼房，成了市民。当时的补偿款给得也少，他们早就花完了，现在又没地，又没钱，农民不像农民，市民不像市民，无业游民倒是挺多，那日子过得，就快成贫民窟了。

The urbanization I see nowadays is just land requisition, demolition of old buildings and building new ones. No matter how good the infrastructure is or how many buildings are built, what good is it? How many farmers can those small cities employ? Just living in a building doesn't make farmers into city dwellers. Look at all those families in the villages who had their land requisitioned before that have all settled in buildings and become city dwellers. At the time, the compensation they got was so little, they ended up spending everything a while ago. Now they don't have any land and they don't have any money either. They're farmers who aren't like farmers and city dwellers who aren't like city dwellers. They're actually a lot of vagrants. Living in this way, they'll find themselves living in slums soon.
