November 2, 2016 at 3:33 AMGood question. It is a common mistake Mandarin learner have. There is a subtle difference between 怎么 and 为什么 You can check out this Qing Wen to learn more about it.
Here, if using 为什么 we would say
- 见了啊,为什么这么问? Yes, I met him. Why do you ask so?
and this makes it way too formal for conversation between siblings.
- 见了啊,怎么?这么关心我? Yes, I met him. What? You care that much about me?
It's not a typo.
- 见了啊. 怎么这么关心我?Yes, I met him. Why do you care that much about me?(This would mean the same, but the tone is a bit different.)

October 26, 2016 at 4:16 AM不 is mostly pronounced bù but when 不 is followed by a fourth tone its tone is changed as second tone, bú. Here are the examples,
- 不 followed by other first, second, and third tone words.
不行bùxíng、不好bùhǎo、不可以bùkěyǐ
- 不 followed by fourth tone words.
不会búhuì、不要búyào、不二价búèrjià

October 26, 2016 at 3:58 AMYa, that's more or less right. V到 is used to indicate that the outcome of the verb is achieved. The chances are it's not very severe, such as:
- 我太高了,不小心撞到地铁门。
wǒ tàigāo le, bùxiǎoxīn zhuàngdào dìtiěmén . I'm too tall. I accidently bumped my head at the door of the metro car. 撞倒 indicates something / someone falls down on the ground caused by the crash. 被 is used to create passive verb so yes, "我被撞到了" and "我被撞倒了" both make sense.
