I would never say to a woman, "你今天看起来很漂亮!" out of fear that she would get mad and reply: "你意思是说我昨天看起来不漂亮吗?" Perhaps, every guy should say this to a woman: "你每天看起来很漂亮!" :-) Art 许冠俊

Amber, Plaintive sounds like Zhang Liang, better to move on! :-) Perhaps the guy should respond with something like this: "告诉我做什么错,我就好好的改变!" (My Chinese translation is a little iffy here). To which the woman would reply: "不是你,是我。"

I don't watch enough movies to be able to guess correctly. When Amber said Chinesepod is giving away a prize, I immediately thought that the prize was a date with her or Jenny! ;-)

John, Choose a Pixar movie next time. If it's another Disney movie, select Mulan. Art

I went to the Apple store last Saturday to check out the iPhone and found out that it doesn't have the plugin to play the lesson. In addition, Chinese input is not available on the iPhone, or maybe, I just couldn't figure out how to turn on Chinese input.

请问,how come Chinesepod didn't send an email to the subscribers announcing this new feature? I didn't know about it until 15 minutes ago when I visited extra.chinesepod.com. :-( Ken, what took you so long to unleash Amber and Connie on us? They are terrific! So what if the Newbie lesson on Confessing love was like this: Guy: 我爱你! Woman: 不好意思,我有男朋友了。 ;-) So Amber, if you were to break a man's heart and you say to him, "对不起,我要跟你分手." Should the guy reply, "没关系“? :-) Art 许冠俊

I've seen my fair share of Taiwanese Martial Arts soap when I was growing up, and I often heard male and female characters say "我喜欢你“ instead of "我爱你“. What's the difference? Can someone elaborate?
