October 27, 2008 at 4:11 AMCan 不好意思 ever be used effectively at the beginning of a sentence or just by itself? I know it means to be embarrased, but I've heard it used a couple times when trying to get someone's attention in an awkward situation or right before asking a question. Any relation to 麻烦你 in this context?

So when asking 那有什么好吗, would the GREAT lose emphasis and just be interpreted as a normal question?
