July 27, 2008 at 3:41 AMI’m convinced you can read my mind! ;-) Every time I want to know more about something I just have to wait until Saturday and then you talk about it!
"Extremely Harmonious" video was soooooo cute!!!! ...but as for the "Smiley Slim-legged Olympics ambassadors" i´m not so sure… i guess you can be polite and natural at the same time (?)
By the way, i meant to rate this lesson as a "5"...don’t know what happened...

(sorry for my poor and 一塌糊涂 Chinese!)

June 18, 2008 at 6:12 AMHi Changye, you are right. In Spanish 行李 has 性, and the funniest thing is that it changes depending on whether you are talking about your luggage in a general sense(el equipaje 男性 ) or about your suitcase etc (la maleta女性 )
I would say it´s the same in French (suitcase: la valise / luggage:le lugage)...but correct me if i am wrong :-p

June 15, 2008 at 3:05 PMI always learn so much from Changye´s posts!! Thank you Changye!
Does any one knows the answer to kesirui´s question? it´s something i´ve been wondering since i learned those words.

July 27, 2008 at 9:27 AMI’ve seen some houses with a sort of sign saying 文明家庭 hanging at the entrance door, and I find it kind of funny. Do they mean they are well-educated? polite? civilized?...or everything together? ^ ^ I ´m just wondering whether it is some sort of award, or you can freely name your family as “文明家庭“ (may be a silly question)
